What Is Web Hosting?
Habesha.net offers domain web hosting and email services. This means that we provide space on our servers for your web site and email. We can register a new domain name for you, or host an existing domain name, which will be used for your web site and email. |

Do You Support Microsoft FrontPage?
Yes, all of our hosting plans fully support Microsoft FrontPage at no extra charge. You can add or remove support for Microsoft FrontPage on your account via your control panel at any time. |

How Do I Transfer Files To My Site?
Files can be transferred to the web server using an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol). FTP software is available for download from our online support centre as well as an FTP tutorial. Some web design packages including Microsoft Front Page include utilities for uploading your site and thus additional software will not be required.

Can I Update My Pages As Often As I Want?
You have unlimited access to your site via FTP or FrontPage 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure. You can change and update your site as often as you want to. |

What Is Data Transfer?
Your data transfer is the total number of data packets which are transferred across the Internet to or from your account. All reputable hosting companies must impose data transfer restrictions in order to control their bandwidth usage and ensure a high standard of service.
The monthly data transfer allowances on our hosting plans are amongst the highest in the industry, as such less than 5% of our clients ever exceed them. You can monitor your data transfer in real time via your control panel.
Should you exceed your data transfer, there is no loss of service to your account, you simply pay a small surcharge for each additional megabyte of data transferred. To summarise, exceeding your data transfer allowance is good news as it means you have a very busy and thus profitable web site!

How will I get my e-mail?
The advantage of a POP3 (Post Office Protocol version3) email account is that it provides many ways to receive your email. You will be able to receive your email on your own computer using Outlook, or Outlook Express. Alternatively you can receive your habesha.net email through your existing yahoo or hotmail account. Upon joining Habesha.net we will provide you with all the information you require to setup your email account. If demand dictates we will consider creating an online application from which users can receive their mail.
